North East staff
The North East SITRA office opened its doors in July 2002 and has since established itself as a key source of information, advice and support on all matters relating to supported housing for providers and statutory bodies within the region. Membership in the North East has increased by 200% the last year and the team is experiencing increasing demand for the provision of regional open programme and in-house training, conferences and seminars.
In addition the team is closely involved with homelessness and housing forums and networks assisting growing numbers of client organisations by providing speakers at Inclusive Forums and other provider events in local authorities across the region. The team has also organised key seminars on RSL-agency relations, the Contractual Web and the Quality and Monitoring Framework, all attended by RSLs, Agencies and Supporting People teams from across the region and beyond.
